A night to remember
/Last Monday, this year's edition of the Maritime Awards took place. The team of MedAssist.online was one of the two nominees for the KVNR Shipping Award 2016. We joined the prime minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, in celebrating the innovative power of the maritime industry and had a great night together with our friends and partners from Stena Line, Lagaay International, Maasmond Maritime and Skillsafe.
We were nominated alongside Holland America Line’s (HAL) MS Koningsdam and their CSMART training facility. Yes, their cruiseliner clipped our app (but only closely J). The team of MedAssist.online congratulates HAL on winning the award as well as commends them for their great innovation! We thank the jury for their appreciation of our efforts and of the value that they think MedAssist.online offers towards better medical safety at sea.

Among our companions for the evening was Captain Piet Sinke, editor of ‘NewsClippings’. He is a valuable friend and partner and will represent MedAssist.online at the upcoming Lloyd’s List Award ceremony in Sydney, Australia. We hope to have better luck down under.
